Dr. Diane Zilker
Dr. Zilker is a 1996 graduate of the UW School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Zilker worked in private practice for 10 years before opening Token Creek Veterinary Clinic in June, 2006. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Dental Society. She has two daughters (Rachel and Sophia). Her husband David is an 8th grade science teacher in Lodi and Token Creek's Practice Manager. Dr. Zilker and her family are the proud owners of Beau (mixed lab), and three cats (Maddy, Mr. Bagels, and Capone), In her spare time, she enjoys creating stained glass artwork and spending time with her family.
Rachel Zilker - Rachel, daughter of Dr. Zilker, attends Deforest High School and works part time for the family business.

Dr. Sonja Covington
Dr. Covington is a 1995 graduate of the UW school of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Covington has worked in AAHA Accredited hospitals for the last 15 years. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association. Prior to attending veterinary school, Dr. Covington served in the U.S. Army for three years. There she met her husband of 23 years, Tim, who currently serves full time in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. They are the proud parents of a son (Kele). Other family members include Koda, (rough coat collie), four fish (Algae, Flash, Dart and Sunny) and numerous dust bunnies.
In her free time, Dr. Covington enjoys spending time at the dog park with Koda, karate (with Kele), canoeing, fishing, camping, and spending as much time with her family as possible. |
Julie Vanderloop, CVT
Julie is one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians. She has over 8 years of experience working in private veterinary practices. Julie attained her bachelor's degree in Zoology with an emphasis in animal behavior (Ethology) at UW Madison. Before coming to private practice, she worked with monkeys for 7 years. Julie is also a certified Pet Dog Trainer. Outside of work, she spends most of her time teaching dog training classes and working privately with owners for Dog's Best Friend Training. She also participates in agility and competition obedience classes with her dog Katana. Julie shares her home with Piper the cat, Norman the parotlet, three ferrets (Arwen, Duncan, and Legolas), three dogs (Makara the Australian Cattle Dog and two Shiba Inus named Katana and Ringo), and one very patient husband (Erik). |
Shauna Hilgart, CVT
Shauna, recently became a Board Certified Veterinary Technician after graduating from the Veterinary Technician program in May of 2008. Shauna completed five semesters of Liberal Arts classes before pursuing her Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology at MATC. While in the program, Shauna was a member of the Wisconsin Student Association for Laboratory Animal and Veterinary Technicians (WSALAVT), and graduated on the Dean's List. Besides enjoying the animals she works with, Shauna also loves to spend time with her cats (Winston and Turk). |
Lacey O'Brien Lacey joined our Client Relations Specialist team in February of 2010. She comes to Token Creek Veterinary Clinic with six years of veterinary receptionist experience. Lacey grew up on a small farmette in Dane County, where she discovered her passion for animals at a very young age. Lacey is a 2008 graduate of Upper Iowa University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She takes a strong interest in law enforcement specifically in the areas of mounted and K9 patrol. Lacey currently resides in the City of Sun Prairie with her fiance, Juan and shares her life with three cats, "Biggie," "Kevlar" and "Paco", a Siberian Husky named "Timber" and a 10-year-old Appaloosa horse, "I'm No Angel." In her free time, Lacey enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, cooking, horseback riding and working out. |
